We found this beautiful store whilst on a food tour. Matteo helped me and explained the legends behind the beautiful pieces. Hearing about the history of the shop was amazing. I ended up buying to pieces due to the beauty of them. Earrings made by Matteo which are so elegant and unique and a silver bracelet made by his father which comes under the memento Mori collection. The beauty and meaning behind each piece makes them even more special.

Let me be bluntly honest here: I am the type of guy you can tell from a mile that they are not likely to spend (big) money on jewellery. And I am sure that every boutique owner can read that immediately. This makes my interaction with Cristian, the shop owner, even more special: humane and genuine as there was no need or room for sales tricks. He was kind, warm and down to earth with me and my lady. He took his time to show us around, talk about the tools and techniques they use, tell us stories about his life and career. We spent more than 1h but less than 100 euros there, if you see my point.

The cameos are beautiful and the art and technique are exquisite. But I don’t write this review to tell you that, you can tell it yourselves even from outside the shop.

I write this review to tell you the following: don’t miss the chance to see this place when you go to Sorrento. If you are a genuine, open and wholehearted person it will become one of the highlights of your trip. Guaranteed

After visiting many shops in Florence and Sorrento we can share that Bimonte is “the place” to purchase a cameo in Italy. Bimonte celebrates the art form of cameo making and offers beautiful authentic pieces and fair prices. This is not a tourist trap, rather a family business with a rich history in creating one of a kind pieces. Christian is knowledgeable and patient and offers customers a wonderful experience. No pushy sales gimmicks. A classy shoppe with excellent customer service to visit for a classic memento of Italy.

My husband and I stopped in this jewelry store while visiting in Sorrento. All of their pieces are stunning from the cameo jewelry, to the simple gold necklaces. I purchased a ring while we were there and then again after we got home. The quality is amazing and I love that each ring is unique and hand carved, in addition to it being a family owned and operated business. Everyone working in the shop was so friendly! If you order from their website the shipping is fast and they were quick to email me back when I had a question about my order. Can’t recommend them enough! I’ll definitely be purchasing more items from them in the future.
