I took the Facial Specialist course and the Aesthetics Advanced Classes at Gulf Coast Academy. It is a great place to learn everything related to facial skin care. It has a great location, with a wonderful personnel, and all the resources needed to learn. The establishment is beautiful and spotless. I was lucky enough to have Chris Turney as my teacher. He is an excellent teacher, with a great understanding of the academic aspects, and he really knows how to explain all the information and procedures in a fun and practical way. He is very professional and thoughtful, always finding a way to help all his students. His lessons were useful and engaging. He was very patient with everyone in class always encouraging his students to do their best.
I would highly recommend Gulf Coast Academy, where you can always find a helping hand from all their staff, specially from Flo and Yolanda.

I cannot say enough about how great of an instructor he was. He made the class exciting and I looked forward to every class. He was helpful and always took the time for questions and further explanation on any area any of us needed more work with. The only negative I can say about this program is I wish it lasted longer. Everyone there wants you to succeed and your classmates will turn into friends! Highly recommend

Graduated from Chris Turney’s class a couple of months ago and just graduated from the Advanced Aesthetics program as well. Can attest to the other reviews about Chris being an excellent instructor while making class fun and interesting. If you are on the fence about taking the Facial Specialist program with him, here’s your sign to do it!! Clean, modern classrooms and treatment rooms as well.

As far as the advanced program goes, this was also just as fun and informative. Both Natalie’s and Yolanda had so much knowledge and experience to give to us during the trainings and I just soaked it all up. Thank you girls for taking the time to help train us in those modalities!
