La Tua Bella did the hair and makeup for my July wedding at Senate Garage in Kingston, NY! Working with La Tua Bella weddings was wonderful! I don’t live in the area so I scheduled trials early on in the process when we were up in Kingston for the weekend (about 11 months before our wedding date). I also wanted to do hair & makeup trials before booking with anyone. When I first met with Megan & Juqui I knew that they were IT! Not only are they wonderful at what they do, but they both have amazing, cool, calm, and fun energy that you DEFINITELY want around you on the day of. The entire team was extremely communicative. Everyone was very helpful with answering all of y questions and with the amount of time needed per person so everything ran super smoothly on the day of. The team did hair & makeup for my 4 bridesmaids, mother, MIL, sister in law, niece and a boy brush-up for one of my bridesmen! We unfortunately dealt with rain on the wedding day so Megan brought along a 2nd makeup artist who was also fantastic! With the weather, we also decided last minute to have Megan & Juqui stay with us until we were closer to the ceremony time so everyone looked and felt fantastic! So glad we did this (especially with the humidity!) I have to share how comfortable they made both my mother and mother-in-law feel. This was the first time both of them had had their hair & makeup done and the team made them feel comfortable and fabulous without making them feel like they didn’t look like themselves. I also am SO thankful for how understanding they both were. During my trial, we tried 2 different hairstyles. One up-do and one down and I loved them both. For some reason I had it in my head that for a summer wedding I needed my hair up. That’s where we started on the wedding day, but as my hair was getting done, something in my gut just said - I gotta go hair down. Juqui was SO understanding and worked magic so I felt absolutely amazing the whole day! If you are getting married in the Hudson Valley area, don’t hesitate to reach out to La Tua Bella Weddings!!

If you are looking for a salon that takes the stress out of deciding your hair and makeup for your wedding, look no further. I worked with Tayler for hair and Megan for makeup and they were beyond remarkable and also just lovely humans to boot. I had such a fun time both during the trial and on the day-of. I definitely felt intimidated going into the process, especially since I pretty much abandoned putting on makeup during the pandemic and wasn’t sure where to start. Both Megan and Tayler were attentive to what I was looking for and took the time to find the perfect look for me. They bring such a warm and loving energy that all worries melted away. They are just exceptional at their craft and made me feel like a million bucks on my wedding day. I cannot recommend them enough!

(May 18th Wedding - Owls Hoot Barn): I highly recommend hiring La Tua Bella for wedding hair and makeup! Megan and Amanda are incredibly talented and professional, and I truly have never felt more beautiful than on my wedding day. I don't usually fair well for an all day event with makeup (very oily and sensitive skin), and was literally AMAZED that I didn't have to touch up my makeup or blot my skin even once throughout the entire day and night. My lashes and mascara even stood up to the happy tears! I actually couldn't believe it. My half-updo with curls completely held and didn't budge either! I recommend doing a trial at the salon ahead of time, since it's a great experience to be able to meet the team, enjoy the salon atmosphere, and get a sense of what you will want for the big day. They were super helpful with recommendations for looks, and were always a step ahead in anticipating what I may want and like. They were even able to be flexible on the wedding day with squeezing a few extra family members in for hair and makeup, which worked out great. THANK YOU Megan & Amanda for being part of making me feel like a queen on the big day! I'd hire you guys again in a heartbeat, without a doubt.
