Saw this place on our way to Lowe's and all knew we had to go back that way for lunch. So glad we did! Everything was delicious! Came out super hot and fresh and the service was amazing!! They cut up out sons hotdog for him since he loves it that way. Awesome place! We will be back for sure with our parents.

Hotdog!! ? The rumors are true! Live in Punta Gorda but heard that Venice was the place to get a good dog. Can’t beat service and selection. Such friendly staff. Awesome selection to satisfy any craving. They offer steamed, grilled or fried. Loved the sauerkraut on the New Yorker and chili with cheese sauce on the coney. Definitely coming back to try some different varieties. You should check out the Mad Dogs!! ?

This place was a really good hot dog drive through. My mom got a Hebrew national with Mustard and sauerkraut and she said it was one of the best ones she has had. I got a Turkey dog with Ketchup, Mayo, Lettuce, and a gluten free Bun. The Bun was not the best but it still tasted really nice. Their Desserts look really good as well. My mom also got a canoli but she said it was a bit hard for her.

This place is awesome. Lots of options. You can pick from the large list of options or make your own. All are delicious.

They only use premium hot dogs, which works to improve the flavor of all meals.

There is also a large selection of sides. Highly recommend the cheese fries and onion rings.

I come here every time I visit my dad in Florida. This placce has the best hot dogs I have ever had and I love how they have hot dogs that match several American cities. I highly reccomend the Chicago Dog and Carolina Dog. Service is amazing and the food is always fresh and delicious!!

What a fun experience! This cute little hotdog place is a must visit. Firstly, I have to start out by saying that the staff were amazing....so friendly and helpful....it is hard to find good service nowadays, so it was a real treat. In terms of the food, there are so many options that it took us 20 min to decide what we wanted ? The hotdogs were fresh and seriously yummy, real comfort food. We also tried the cannoli. The cream had orange zest in, very different....my husband loved it, but I didn't...so may not be for everyone....but they also had tiramisu and cream puffs which looked awesome. There is no interior, just a drive thru, but they have shaded tables outside if you wish to eat there.

You know what I've been thinking about my experience here. We had vacationed in Venice a couple years in a row and as vegetarians we really loved Mad Dogs and appreciated the options. The food was really good and it was so nice to have vegetarian hotdogs and chili. However, the last time we went there the lady working there made it much less of a happy experience. I was ordering some sort of chili dish- either a chili dog or chili cheese fries, I can't remember which. She told me that if she let me order that it would use up too much of the vegetarian chili and she wouldn't do that so that others could still have it to. BUT IT WAS A MENU ITEM. I was there and ordering the food. She didn't even offer me any other options- it was like she didn't even want me to have any of the chili, like I was not worthy or something. I did end up getting a little bit of chili on something that "took less chili" after asking myself if I was "allowed" to order it on something else. I think it just really ruined the whole experience. This is years later but it is sadly a memory that I still think about and really all I can see now when I think about Mad Dogs which used to be a happy experience for us.

This was our first time here! The girl that took our order did an outstanding job. She was very helpful, quick, super polite, and informative. The food was great. The cooks also did a great job the food was made to the top and well laid out. They also moved a lot costumers in and out fast. Thank you!
